Mentoring Program
Mentoring can be defined as a relationship
in which an experienced person helps another to discover more about themselves,
their potential and their capability. It can either be an informal relationship,
where an individual leans on someone else for guidance, support and feedback, or
a more formal arrangement between two people who respect and trust each other. Mutual
respect and trust is the essence of a successful mentoring process.
My role as your mentor is to listen,
ask questions, examine the facts and act as a source of information and experience
from which you will benefit I will support you and maximize your true potential
which will enable you to understand your current behaviour and allow you to design
and implement a positive, achievable and creative plan of action for YOUR success.
We will work to your agenda and you will be expected to form your own views and
develop different perspectives in your quest to beat "the fear"
Mentoring does not involve any therapeutic
interventions.
The mentoring program
is completly flexible and you control the frequency of the sessions. Sessions are
30 minutes long and are conducted over the telephone.
As every mentoring relationship
will be different, each option includes
a free initial session where we outline our goals and expectations of the mentoring process. This initial call
defines the mentoring agreement which we will both sign before the sessions start.
Should you wish to have
this introductory session before you subscribe to the mentoring program then please
contact me now to arrange a mutually convenient time.
Mentoring comes with a money back
guarantee should you not be 100% satisfied with the service provided.
Ask about the Gold option if you want to include one weeks email support for
each number of sessions booked i.e 3 Sessions Gold offers three 30 minute
calls and three weeks email support*.
Mentoring
Mentoring
is not a new concept. In fact, the most famous occurrence dates back to the times
of Greek mythology in the novel 'Odyssey' When Ulysses was away fighting in the
Trojan wars, he appointed a guardian named Mentor to develop his son, Telemachus,
into a future king and warrior.
The
Goddess of Wisdom Athena, who needed to take on a male form to be accepted into
this role, was actually the mentor. Her teaching method was to lead by example providing
opportunities for experiences that Telemachus could learn from.
